Privacy policy

Listing Short Reels is run by Short Reel Factory LLC, in Oregon (“we”). This policy covers realestate.shortreelfactory.com and the app behind it. Questions go to agent@shortreelfactory.com.

What we collect

• Your account. Name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID. If you use a password, we keep only a scrambled (hashed) version of it.
• Your profile and brand kit. Phone, license number, service areas, writing style, brokerage name, headshot and logo, which you enter yourself.
• Your listings. Photos you upload, listing facts, captions and schedules, and the back-office details you choose to keep, such as the seller’s name and contact information and your notes.
• Leads. When someone fills in one of your funnels (a listing page, home value or similar), we store what they enter, such as name, email, phone and their answers, and pass it to you.
• Visit counts. How many times each listing page was opened that day, and which platform the link came from. We don’t track visitors across sites.
• Free samples. If you ask for a free sample clip, the photo you upload, your email address (to send you the link and limit one per person) and a scrambled code made from your network address (to limit samples per network). We don’t keep the network address itself.
• New Member Special. So it stays one per person, we keep scrambled (hashed) codes made from the buyer’s email, Google account and card fingerprint (a code Stripe gives us; never the card number), and of the network address as a review flag. We keep these after an account is deleted, only for this purpose.
• Billing. Stripe handles card payments. We never see or store your full card number; we keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs.
• A sign-in cookie. One cookie keeps you signed in. We don’t use advertising cookies.

How we use it

To run the service: make your videos and posts, publish them where you tell us to, deliver leads to you, send account and billing emails, and keep the service secure. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that run parts of the service for us, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe, for payments.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
• fal.ai, which receives the listing photos used to generate your walkthrough video.
• Vercel and Neon, which host the app, its files and its database.
• Resend, which delivers our emails.
• The social platforms you connect, which receive the posts you schedule.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Leads and sellers

Leads and seller details belong to the agent who collected them. We store them on the agent’s behalf. If you gave your details through an agent’s page and want them removed, ask that agent, or write to agent@shortreelfactory.com and we’ll pass the request on.

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and Google account ID, and we use them only to sign you in. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time on the Accounts page. That removes your profile, listings, photos, videos, posts and leads from the app. Copies in our providers’ backups are removed as those backups expire. Billing records stay with Stripe as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can see and edit most of your information in the app. To get a copy of your data, correct something you can’t edit, or ask any other privacy question, email agent@shortreelfactory.com.

Children

The service is for real estate professionals and isn’t meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll email account holders before it takes effect and update the date at the top.
