Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Short Reel Factory LLC (“we”), for the use of Listing Short Reels (“the service”). By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them.

Who it’s for

The service is for real estate professionals and their offices. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you sign up for an office, you confirm you’re allowed to bind it, and you’re responsible for the agents you add.

Plans and billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically each month, at the price shown when you bought, until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from the billing page. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
• When you change plans, the old plan ends and the unused part of it is credited on your next bill.
• Unused videos and credits don’t roll over. A plan’s listings and videos refill each period: on realestate.shortreelfactory.com on the 1st of each calendar month, and on other Short Reel Factory plans on your billing date. Whatever is unused at the end of the period expires and does not roll over or carry forward. Add-on packs and top-ups must be used in the period they’re bought in. Unused videos and credits aren’t refunded or credited back, apart from the first-payment refund in our refund policy. Listings and videos you’ve already made stay in your library.
• The New Member Special is offered once per person, across all accounts. We check the email, Google account and card used; if one has had the special before, we refund the payment in full and the special isn’t added. It is a single payment that never renews, and it isn’t refundable once its video has rendered (see our refund policy). It buys one listing, which doesn’t expire; this is the one exception to the rule above.
• Free sample clips are one per email address, watermarked, and offered while the month’s free allowance lasts.
• Pro, Team and Brokerage include a set number of videos a month, shown on the pricing page. Every render counts, re-dos included, and on team plans the number is shared by the office.
• Each listing can be rendered up to three times: the first, plus two re-dos.
• If we change prices, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal.
• Refunds are covered in our refund policy.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to store, process and change it (for example, to turn photos into video and post it) only to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the right to use every photo and piece of information you upload, including any photographer’s or MLS rights.

You’re responsible for what you publish

Videos, captions and descriptions are generated with AI and can contain mistakes. Review everything before it’s posted. You’re responsible for making sure your marketing follows the law and the rules that apply to you, including fair housing law, your MLS rules, your state’s real estate advertising rules (such as showing your brokerage), and any rules about disclosing AI-altered images. Our fair housing check helps catch common problem phrases, but it isn’t legal advice and won’t catch everything.

Things you can’t do

• Upload content you don’t have the rights to, or that’s false, misleading or discriminatory.
• Use the service to send spam, or to collect information about people without a lawful reason.
• Try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or resell it without our written OK.

Other platforms

If you post our videos to Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile or other platforms, their own terms apply to what you post there. We can’t control their decisions, outages or rule changes.

No guaranteed results

We don’t promise any number of views, leads or sales.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Accounts page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or don’t pay, and we’ll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost deals. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

You agree to cover our costs if a claim against us is caused by content you uploaded or published, or by your breaking these terms.

Law

Oregon law governs these terms. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll email you before it takes effect. Questions go to agent@shortreelfactory.com.
